Ouachita ATV Club is based in Mena Arkansas, surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. There are several ATV trail systems within an hour's drive of Mena, the Wolfpen Gap Trail system being the closest and largest with access only 7 miles from town. We are a club that is family oriented, Promoting ATV safety & responsible "Tread Lightly" riding habits.

We welcome you to the Ouachita's and hope to be of assistance while your here. For more information about trail riding the Ouachita's, please feel free to contact an OAC Member, or join us on the OAC Forum by clicking the menu link above.
- Recreational Trails Program - Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., the new chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, has announced that his committee will begin a process of crafting a new multi-year surface transportation bill. In mid-February, he hopes to begin a series of field hearings or listening sessions outside of Washington to gather citizen input on what should be included in the bill. ARRA will let you know when and where these sessions are being held so you can attend and talk about the merits of continuing the Recreational Trails Program (RTP).
We all need to send letter in to our US Congressman & Representatives to show our support for the Recreational Trails Program. The RTP grants are where we get money to build/maintain OHV/ATV trails.
Ouachita ATV Club has been very busy lately fighting to keep OUR Ouachita National Forest open to the public for us all to enjoy.
We have spent countless hours preparing information that is being used by the Blue Ribbon Coalition
to prepare our appeal, I would personally like to say "Thank You!" to them for all their help. I would like to encourage anyone who is not a member of the BRC to join, it is very important in our battle to preserve land access accross the entire country. Another thing I'd like to ask you to do is to become a member of the Ouachita ATV Club if you're not already, we need your help and support!
Once again I'd like to say thanks to all the fine members of our club for all that they have done in the past few months.
